Test Day Procedures

General

  • Examinees are required to report to the Testing Center (501A Ginger Hall) at least 15 minutes before their scheduled test time.
  • Examinees are encourage to contact the MSU Police Department (606-783-2220 or 606-783-2035) for exact parking instructions and to inquire about temporary or guest parking passes. PRAXIS examinees are encouraged to do this several days in advance of their scheduled test date due to the early test report time. If you arrive to the Testing Center after your scheduled testing time, you will not be permitted to test.
  • Examinees are required to provide appropriate identification for all tests administered by the Testing Center.

  • MP3 Players/iPods, portable stereos, radios, headphones
  • Cameras
  • Flash drives
  • Digital or analog watches
  • Other electronic devices
  • Food

  • Hats
  • Jackets
  • Backpacks

  • Watches
 

ACT

  • Examinees must present a current picture ID (preferably a driver's license).
  • Examinees testing residually will make payment on their test date. National examinees (Saturday test date) will pay fees to ACT prior to the test date.

CLEP

  • Examinees are required to present government-issued identification with a photograph and signature.
  • Examinees will be registered for CLEP with their credit card.
  • The MSU Testing Center fee is payable by check, cash or money order.

MAT

  • Examinees are required to present two forms of current identification. The primary ID must include a photograph and signature (your MSU ID is no longer considered a primary ID). The secondary ID does not need to include a photograph or signature.
  • Payment must be made on test day in the form of check, cash or money order.
