- A. Frank and Bethel C. Gallaher Memorial Music Award - music competition awards (full-time juniors)
- Alicia G. Vallotton Scholarship - returning theatre majors
- Art Leadership Scholarship - entering freshman art majors
- Byrd H. Perry Memorial Scholarship - incoming freshmen from Bath County (preference to those living in Salt Lick) who major in music, history, government or political science fields.
- Clyde I. James Endowment - full-time students seeking a degree in music education or music performance with a concentration in violin, viola, cello or classical bass in the string program.
- Donald F. Holloway Scholarship - Department of Communication, Media and Leadership Studies (junior or senior)
- E. Glenn and Helen F. Fulbright Music Education Scholarship Award - scholarship for the outstanding junior or senior in music education
- Edwa P. and Allie W. Young Memorial Award - Departments of Music and History, Philosophy, Religion and Legal Studies
- Erica Brown Memorial Endowment - students with an interest in creative writing and the fine arts (preference given to students from MSU’s primary service region). Recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and maintain overall satisfactory scholastic standing.
- F.S. Brown Scholarship for Strategic Communications - Strategic Communication major (full-time junior or senior)
- Frances Edmunson Scholarship - full-time undergraduate music majors
- George T. Young Memorial Fund Award - outstanding student in the Department of History, Philosophy, Religion and Legal Studies (preference given to students with an interest in Kentucky History)
- Harlen Hamm Scholarship - Speech or Theatre major (preference given to rising junior or senior). Students majoring in Theatre will only be considered if a Strategic Communication student is unable to be identified.
- Jamey Aebersold Jazz Award - outstanding students in the BM Jazz Studies program
- Joyce Brown and James C. LeMaster Scholarship - English or Industrial & Engineering Technology (full-time undergraduates)
- Lola Crosthwaite Scholarship - Sociology, Social Work or Criminology major (full-time junior). Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Major Wayne D. Isham Award for ROTC Excellence - top freshmen and sophomore cadets in the MSU ROTC program
- Mary Lynne Albers Memorial Scholarship Award - outstanding student oboist
- Melody Trosper Scholarship - entering or returning full-time Theatre major
- Music Scholarship - music scholarship awards are available to qualified students (incoming freshman and transfer students only) as determined through a scholarship audition. These awards serve numerous students annually. All awards are contingent upon admission to the University.
- Nelson Carpenter Scholarship - new or returning Theatre major
- Noel F. Oney Scholarship - theatre major, theatre minor or graduate student with an emphasis in theatre (full-time students)
- ROTC Campus-based Scholarship - full-time undergraduate or graduate student (2-4 years remaining to complete degree).
- ROTC High School Nursing Scholarship Program - Nursing majors
- ROTC High School Scholarship Program - 19 or higher ACT and 2.5 or higher GPA
- ROTC Nursing Scholarship - applied and/or accepted into BSN Program with 2.5 or higher GPA and meet qualifications to commission as an Officer in the U.S. Army.
- Raymond P. Ross, Sr. Memorial Award - senior music major with highest grade point average
- Reser Scholarship - minority student who shows good scholarship, promise and commitment to his or her discipline and to concerns of social justice
- Studebaker/Mueller Bassoon Award - full-time music education major (primary instrument: bassoon)
- Theatre Alumni Scholarship - full-time returning theatre major or minor.
- Theatre Scholarships - full-time theatre major
- Theodore Presser Scholarship Award - outstanding music major (at or after junior level)
- Theta Alpha Phi Scholarships - returning theatre students
- Virginia and Evelyn Harpham Music Scholarship for String Players - music major with an emphasis in string performance (audition required)
- W. David Brown, Sr. Scholarship - journalism or Convergent Media major (junior or senior) with cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
- W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Scholarship for Study of the Arts at Morehead State University (Art Majors) - Art and Design majors from Kentucky with an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 and a 22 ACT composite score
- W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Scholarship for Study of the Arts at Morehead State University (Music Majors) -Music majors from Kentucky with an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 and 22 ACT composite score
- W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Scholarship for Study of the Arts at Morehead State University (Theatre Majors) - Theatre and Dance majors from Kentucky with an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 and 22 ACT composite score
