John Modaff specializes in a performance studies approach to rhetorical analysis and criticism as well as the creative treatment of interpersonal conflict. He has self-published two original class text works, the second of which is freely shared online. Dr. Modaff’s writings appear in "Communication Education, Text and Performance Quarterly, and Research in Language and Social Interaction" and other journals. He co-produces and co-hosts two MSU-TV programs in support of the MSU Convergent Media Practicum, and has since 1991 produced original, award-winning radio commentary for WMKY, 90.3 fm, Morehead State Public Radio.
