Global Studies

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Global Studies at MSU is an interdisciplinary program that combines classroom learning with practical application of international concepts and will teach you how to assess the current political and economic changes of other cultures.

You will gain knowledge of other cultures, languages and institutions that will be complemented by a required study abroad experience approved by the department.

The program includes tracks of study specializing in the Eurasia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa and the Middle East.

This program is offered at the Morehead campus.

Global Studies Club

The Global Studies Club is an opportunity for Global Studies majors and minors, as well as other majors who are interested, to increase their knowledge about international affairs, share their experiences abroad, and to increase awareness on campus about international opportunities. Throughout the school year, the Global Studies Club hosts speakers, works to promote the Global Studies major and minor, and participates in many events including fundraisers, international dinners, and study abroad fairs.
