Research Interests: Research interests include clinical social work, intimate partner violence, and law & social work. Lynn has worked extensively with the Kentucky public defender system on training and evaluation.



Ph.D., University of Kentucky in 2010. MSW, University of Kentucky in 1994. Dr. Geurin is licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW), and serves as a clinical supervisor for social work mental health practitioners. Dr. Geurin is also a Coordinator of the Public Child Welfare program on the Morehead and Mt. Sterling campuses. She teaches and does national presentations on issues related to law and social work.
