Dr. Meisel started teaching accounting at Morehead State University in 2002.  He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Before earning his Ph.D., he taught at Miami University (2 years), Indiana State University (5 years), Cumberland College (1 1/2 years), Kentucky State University (1 year ) and Ashland University (3 years).
Dr. Meisel says that, regardless of where life took him, he has always been a Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. In addition to the Browns and Indians, he has also acquired an interest in UK Basketball and UK Football while living in Kentucky. In addition to sports, he also enjoys movies and television. An interest he believes began in high school when he worked in his local Shaker Heights, Ohio movie theater where he was an usher and assistant manager.
