Educator Preparation Program
Transition Points
All candidates for teacher preparation progress through a process, including application, acceptance, foundation courses, field experiences, methods courses, and clinical practice, licensure/certification leading to employment, and subsequent impact on PK-12 learners. Each of these distinct points offers an opportunity to measure quality, progress, and effectiveness of the EPP, as well as candidate growth or completer impact on PK-12 learners. All points are made in consideration of and measured against the EPP’s Learning Goals for candidates and professional expectations as Interns and teachers. Information is shared with stakeholders such as program faculty, candidates and their families, schools and districts, policy makers, and the university community in general, through these web pages.
