Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

The Quality Assurance System (QAS) for the Teacher/Educator Preparation Provider Program begins with the premise that candidates pass through 6 distinct transition points on their journey to the teaching profession.  There are currently five approved and one proposed Learning Goals for Candidates and Completers that guide our QAS and the mechanisms within that for collecting measurable and actionable qualitative and quantitative data, at those transition points.  Those data then become input (knowledge) for the Continuous Improvement System (CIS), through which faculty, programs, and the entire EPP (Leadership, Teacher Education Council) show learning through decisions for change, revisions, etc.
