Dr. Michele Cudd

Assistant Professor of Education/MSUTeach
Department of Early Childhood and Special Education
Degrees: Bachelor of Arts in French; Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics; Master's of Business Education; Ph.D. in Learning and Teaching in Stem

Michele Cudd is enjoying her latest adventure of accepting the position of an assistant professor of mathematics education at MSU.  She recently completed her Ph.D. in Learning and Teaching in STEM from North Carolina State University (Go Wolfpack!).  Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she experienced a variety of classrooms across the state of North Carolina in her role as an instructional coach.  She also taught high school mathematics for five and a half years.  Other degrees include an MBA, a B.A. in French, and a B.S. in mathematics.
Her love of education extends far beyond her current mathematics education world.  She worked as a naturalist educator on a bay in Alabama and taught different school groups about estuaries.  She also taught English as a second language in France as part of an exchange program when she was an undergraduate student.  She loves to spend her free time outdoors, which is one of the many reasons why she is happy to call Morehead home.
