FACULTY SPOTLIGHT

Pamela Workman - thumbnail
Costume Shop Supervisor, Theatre Faculty "Morehead State University holds a certain place in my heart. This is where I learned that costumes is not just a hobby, this is a career.  This is where I learned to stretch my mind and imagination as an actress, technician, and designer.  The theatre program gave all students the chance to thrive and succeed. Now, returning to MSU as a member of faculty,  I still find that the MSU theatre program is an aspiring environment for students to develop into their future selves.  The facilities and  faculty members here are fantastic and determined to help all that desire to succeed do so."

Program Info

The BA in Music (Traditional Music) provides for the study of traditional music as related to the creative cultural interaction in Appalachia that has produced a wealth of distinctive styles of music. The music with which we are most involved stems from, or is influenced by the music that is identified with our southern Appalachian mountain region.

Performance Major, Mt. Sterling, KY "The music department is where I feel most comfortable. Not just because music is what I love doing, but because this is my family and my home away from home. Each day is new and brings new excitement and change to help me be me."
