Nelson Carpenter Scholarship (Theatre)

Scholarship for full-time student majoring in Theatre, minoring in Theatre or a graduate student with an emphasis in Theatre.  Award is determined by the Department chair of Music, Theatre and Dance, Dean of the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the appropriate Enrollment Services Staff.

Application Procedure

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first apply to Morehead State University by completing the Admission and Scholarship Application (www.moreheadstate.edu/apply). In addition to the application, you need to send your 7-semester high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores to Enrollment Services, 100 Admission Center, Morehead, KY 40351.

Some scholarships require an additional application, which is provided below.

If you are a current student, you do not need to reapply for admission, but you will need to complete a supplemental scholarship application, if required.

Requirements

Students must be admitted to Morehead State University.  To be considered for this award, the student is also required to demonstrate the following:

  • Full-time student majoring in Theatre;
  • Active Participation in the MSU Theatre program;
  • Selection by the Department chair of Music, Theatre and Dance, Dean of the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the appropriate Enrollment Services Staff.
