Bet Ison Quilt Exhibit

KFAC logo

The Kentucky Folk Art Center (KFAC) will host an exhibition of quilts created by Rowan County Folk Artist Bet Ison. This exhibit contains ten quilts made by Ison, and 20 adjunct pieces which tell and illustrate the stories and secrets stitched into the quilts.

The Kentucky Folk Art Center (KFAC) at Morehead State University is one of Kentucky's special places. Located in the historic Union Grocery, the Center offers much more than a typical museum experience. KFAC houses a permanent collection of nearly 1,400 pieces of self-taught art. The Center presents several new changing exhibits each year in the second-floor gallery, featuring folk art, fine art, textiles, photography, and historical content.
