OperaWorks Fall Concert
Morehead State University OperaWorks takes the stage to perform for the first time in three years.
An evening of classic music theatre, operetta, and opera will ring in the holiday season when OperaWorks presents its fall show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the Duncan Recital Hall of the Baird Music Building. All students are admitted free, and adults can attend with a financial donation at the event.
The show features excerpts from Lerner and Lowe's "Brigadoon," scenes from Gilbert and Sullivan's "H.M.S. Pinafore" and "Trial by Jury," Mozart's "Don Giovanni," Jones and Schmidt's "The Fantasticks," and Jonathan Dove's "The Enchanted Pig."
