Interdisciplinary Relationships Career Event

The Center for Career Development and Experiential Education and Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning invite you to a professional development opportunity.
"Interdisciplinary, regional-based learning and establishing community-engaged relationships" takes place at Thursday, April 11, in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) ballrooms.
- 1:30 p.m. - Pre-Keynote Networking with horse d'oeurvres
- 2 p.m. - Keynote Address by Dr. Patrick M. Green, executive director of the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching and Scholarship (CELTS) at Loyola University Chicago.
- 3 p.m. - Q&A Session and Conversation
Participating faculty and staff will be able to...
- Explore pedagogical strategies for career skill development through the high-impact experience of service learning;
- Engage with hands-on case studies that demonstrate how service can be integrated into engaged learning, teaching, and scholarship;
- Network and connect with community partners in the local community and faculty from across the university.
Participating community partners will be able to...
- Learn about the wide variety of programs and majors offered at Morehead State University and how faculty and students can best support you;
- Network and develop relationships with faculty members from across the university to begin community-engaged partnerships;
- Hear about real-world examples of partnerships between an institution of higher education and community organization and the impact they had by working together.
