Brian Gay Speaking Engagement

Morehead State's Department of History, Philosophy, Global Studies, and Legal Studies will bring a successful business alum for a speaking event.

Brian Gay (Class of 2006, 2008), division manager for the City of Cincinnati's Office of Budget & Evaluation, will share his experience and insights at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, in Room 221 or Rader Hall. The event is free and open to the public, and there will be free snacks and a raffle giveaway.

Originally from Wyoming, Ohio, Gay attended Morehead State University, where he studied sociology, public policy, and business as an undergraduate student. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology before earning a Master of Public Administration (MPA). He also attended The Ohio State University, earning a master's degree in city and regional planning.

Gay began working for the City of Cincinnati's Office of Budget & Evaluation in 2010 and is now primarily responsible for coordinating the city's capital budget and supporting community engagement activities related to it. He is passionate about fostering opportunities for community participation and citizen empowerment.
