Topping Off Prefontaine Hall: Make your Mark!

🎉 Join us as we celebrate a major milestone in the construction of our new residence hall, Prefontaine Hall! 

The Building Topping Ceremony marks the placement of the final structural beam, and we’re inviting students to leave their mark on campus history. The beam will be placed on Henry Ward Place across from the Space Science Center.

Before the beam is lifted into place, students will have the unique opportunity to sign the final beam, symbolizing their connection to the future of our campus community. Whether a first-year student or a graduating senior, your signature will become part of the building’s legacy.

Event highlights include:

• Beam signing for students, faculty, and staff
• Remarks from university leadership and project partners
• Refreshments and commemorative giveaways
• Photo opportunities with the beam and construction team
