ROTC Exhibit Unveiling
Join Morehead State University’s Army ROTC program for the dedication and unveiling of a new military history exhibit at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in the third-floor foyer of Button Hall.
Created in partnership with the Rowan County Veterans Museum and American Legion Post 126, the exhibit highlights MSU’s long military heritage—from the World War II “Blue Jackets” Navy Technical School to the founding of the Army ROTC program in 1968.
A brief ceremony will be followed by a reception and an opportunity to explore the display.
All are welcome to attend!
Department of Military Science
MSU Army ROTC has been a commissioning source for the United States Army for over half a century. Located in Button Auditorium, Army ROTC turns college students into military officers through classroom instruction, physical fitness training, training exercises and special events. Each semester, Cadets participate in events ranging from early morning runs and marches to fundraising for the annual Cadet Military Ball. Motivated individuals are always needed to come out and take part.
