Topping Off Science & Engineering Building

🎉 Join us as we celebrate a major milestone in the construction of our new Science & Engineering Building!

The Building Topping Ceremony marks the placement of the final structural beam, and we’re inviting students to leave their mark on campus history. The beam will be placed behind the Howell-McDowell Administration Building, between 2nd Street and University Boulevard.

Before the beam is lifted into place, students will have the unique opportunity to sign the final beam, symbolizing their connection to the future of our campus community. Whether a first-year student or a graduating senior, your signature will become part of the building’s legacy.

Event highlights include:

• Beam signing for students, faculty, and staff
• Remarks from university leadership and project partners
• Refreshments and commemorative giveaways
• Photo opportunities with the beam and construction team
