MLK Jr. Candlelight March

Join the Morehead State University community for a meaningful evening honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the MLK Day Candlelight March and Service Program on Monday, January 19, at 6 p.m.

The event will begin with a brief, reflective candlelight march, followed by student reflections, an educational video, and a hands-on service activity in the ADUC Ballrooms.

Centered on themes of community, leadership, and service, the program invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to come together to reflect on Dr. King’s impact while giving back to the campus community.

Student Activities

MSU offers more than 100 student clubs and organizations. You can explore your interests in everything from politics and social issues to academics, athletics and faith. You can join a fraternity or sorority or perform on the field at halftime with the MSU Marching Band. MSU also offers Tau Sigma and the National Honor Society for Transfer Students.

Student Activities organizes events that attract nationally recognized performers and speakers. Events like Family Weekend, Greek Week and the Homecoming Parade bring together students, their families and alums.
