Clarinet Day

The Department of Music & Theatre at Morehead State University invites clarinetists of all levels to attend Clarinet Day on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Baird Music Hall. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

This full-day event offers participants the opportunity to grow as musicians through masterclasses, ensemble rehearsals, clinics, and performance experiences explicitly designed for clarinetists. Attendees will work closely with MSU faculty and guest artists while connecting with fellow musicians who share a passion for the instrument.

Clarinet Day is an excellent opportunity for students to refine their skills, explore collegiate-level music study, and experience the vibrant musical community at Morehead State.

Music & Theatre

The Department of Music & Theatre prepares students for careers in education, performance, and professional performing arts. Students can explore undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare them for careers as educators, performers, or professionals. Students also have opportunities to participate in various performances and ensembles and engage with the community, state, and region.
