Inscape Fine Arts Showcase
Morehead State University invites the campus and community to celebrate the 2026 issue of Inscape at the annual Inscape Fine Arts Showcase on Thursday, April 23, at 6 p.m. in Room 111 of the Claypool-Young Art Building.
This special reception honors the visual artists, cover designers and writers whose work was selected for publication in MSU’s juried literary and visual arts journal. Guests will enjoy featured artwork, live readings by published writers, light refreshments, and the announcement of award winners across multiple categories.
First published in 1957, Inscape continues its long tradition of showcasing cutting-edge student creativity across a wide range of genres and media, including poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, photography, painting, design, digital art and more.
The event is free and open to the public!
About Inscape
Inscape is a literary and visual arts journal that Morehead State University students produce. Through a joint effort between the Department of English & Modern Languages and the Department of Communication, Media, Art & Design, Inscape provides students with additional opportunities to publish their work, build their portfolio and/or resume, and expand their experience and knowledge of the submission, editing and/or publication process.
