Spirits Industry Seminar

The Morehead State University Chemistry Club, in partnership with the Lexington Section of the American Chemical Society, will host a seminar exploring research and career opportunities in Kentucky’s spirits industry on Wednesday, April 8.

The event will take place in the ADUC Theatre, with light refreshments at 5 p.m., followed by the seminar at 5:30 p.m.

Featured speakers include Dr. Brad Berron, research director at the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits, and Caleb Kilburn (Class of 2014), master distiller and co-founder of Eastern Light Distilling. The seminar will highlight the science, innovation and economic impact of the spirits industry across Kentucky.

The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public!
