Special Events Planning Manager
The Office of Conference & Event Services
I would like to serve as the Staff Regent for Morehead State University to be a communication conduit between staff, Dr. Morgan and the Board of Regents, provide recommendations on all matters pertaining to employees and promote staff welfare through professional development and formal recognition while serving the mission of the University.

I have twenty years of experience at MSU within the Office of Information Technology and four years of experience in Conference & Event Services. I have also served two years on the Title IX Hearing Panel.  I pride myself in conducting business in a manner that is fair and reasonable.  In the challenging times that MSU faces, we need strong representation from our Staff Regent that is not only willing to talk about changes, but is willing to “be about change”.   Every staff member should be informed of decisions being made at the Board level and staff members deserve to have strong representation at that same level.
I am a Mt. Sterling native and President of the Mt. Sterling-DuBois Community Center; a 501(c) (3), a Non-Profit Organization, and active in my church, First Baptist Church Winchester.  I have had the pleasure of volunteering with the YMCA of Central Kentucky- Black Achievers Program for eight years.  I am honored to be the recipient of the ”2018 Volunteer of the Year” award for the Black Achievers Program.

In closing, we all succeed when MSU succeeds.  I encourage you all to actively participate in shared governance, student retention efforts and campus activities.

Please take the time next Monday to vote for your Staff Regent.
