SHARE Fund Application

Morehead State University has received funds under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act to provide emergency grants to students who are eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid. Students who were enrolled in 100% online classes prior to March 13, 2020, are not eligible to receive a CARES Act emergency grant. The emergency grants are meant to help students pay for COVID-19 related expenses, including food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and childcare. If you are notified you are not eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid or if you were enrolled 100% in online classes for the Spring 2020 semester prior to March 13, 2020, then you will not be eligible to receive a CARES Act emergency grant. If you are in need of assistance related to COVID-19 expenses please use the form below to apply for for funds from the University’s Student Hardship Assistance Resource Emergency (SHARE) fund.
Please complete the application below to be considered for SHARE funding. Once completed, your application will be reviewed within 5-7 days. A staff member will notify you when your application is under review. In most cases, a decision is made within one week.
