2021 Theme: Under the Sea
The 2021 Morehead State University Homecoming Parade will be Saturday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. on Main Street. Take part in a long-standing Homecoming tradition! Bring the entire family and find a spot along Main Street. Parade attendees will enjoy floats, balloons and bands, as well as a variety of exciting special entries. The parade will begin on West Main Street and proceed down Main Street to University Boulevard. Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Campus Activities Board. Campus and Community organizations are encouraged to participate by entering a float. Participation in the parade is free. Prizes will be given for both the student and community organization categories. All prizes are sponsored by the MSU Foundation.

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in both the student and community categories:
- 1st prize - $500
- 2nd prize - $250
- 3rd prize - $100
Cash prizes must be picked up at the
Office of Alumni and Development no later than Friday, Nov. 19.
Any cash prize that is not picked up by then will be forfeited. Any entries from multiple groups will split the prize amount equally among all groups.
The Butler Bulldogs
The Homecoming opponent is Butler University and their mascot is Hink the bulldog. For more information about the opponent, visit

Applications
Important Dates
- Oct. 4: Float and entry application deadline by 4:30 p.m. Any entries submitted after this date will be lined up at the end of the parade.
- Oct. 13: Email with parade line-up sent out the float applicants.
- Oct. 16: All floats must be in their assigned line up location by 8:30 a.m.
