New Student Days is a multi-day experience designed to help you settle in, meet new people, and explore campus life. From move-in and convocation to Eagle Fest and first-week events, it’s your launchpad for a successful start at Morehead State.

Move-in Information

New Student Move-in is Aug. 14 & 15; Returning Student Move-in is Aug. 16 & 17.

Kona Ice Cool Down

Enjoy a cool treat during New Student Move-In on Aug. 14 & 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside of ADUC! Sponsored by the Alumni Association.

New Student Convocation

This special event, mandatory for first-year students, welcomes new Eagles and marks the beginning of the academic year with inspiration, pride, and school spirit. Convocation is at 7 p.m. on Aug. 15 in Button Auditorium.

Eagles Landing

Need help finding a class? Have questions about your schedule or advisor? Come to "Eagles Landing" in 101 Camden-Carroll Library, where the staff in Retention & Advising can help!

Eagle Block Party

Kick off the semester on Aug. 15 at 8 p.m. at Fields Hall Lawn with music, games, free food, and fun.

Eagle Lake Hike

Meet new Eagles and see the natural beauty around campus with a hike around Eagle Lake, 9-11 a.m., Aug. 16.

Life @ MSU

Get the inside scoop on campus at Life @ MSU, a must-attend session for new students, at 1 p.m. in Button Auditorium! This event is mandatory for first-year students.

Movie on the Lawn

Meet new Eagles on the front lawn of ADUC for a fun outdoor movie experience on Aug. 16 at 8:30 p.m.

Topping Off Prefontaine Hall

Join us as we celebrate a milestone in the construction of Prefontaine Hall! Students are invited to sign the final beam on Aug. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. on Henry Ward Place.

Meet the Greeks

Thinking about going Greek? Connect with MSU’s fraternities and sororities and explore how Greek life can enhance your college experience. Learn more on Aug. 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the ADUC Plaza.

Cool off and connect at the Ice Cream Social! Join us from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at ADUC Plaza and Lappin Lawn for free ice cream, music, and fun.
