Student Organizations

The Department of Engineering Sciences offers several sponsored student organizations to give you networking opportunities and a chance to socialize with other students with similar interests.

ATMAE Student Chapter

The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) is a national professional organization that promotes industrial technology. MSU's student chapter has students from all ETM options. The group fosters learning and socialization.

SME Student Chapter

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers provides services and programs especially designed to help students become more effective members of the manufacturing profession. Members of SME have up-to-date trade publications information, access to the SME database and library, free resume service and frequent association with students and practicing professionals at monthly Society 154 meetings in Lexington, Ky.

MSU Robotics Team

The MSU Robotics Team comprises students from the different programs available in the School of Engineering & Technology Management. These students design and build competition robots for the annual ATMAE conference proceedings. The team teaches teamwork and the ability to create a product based on specifications.

AGC Student Chapter

Membership in the Associated General Contractors (AGC) student chapter provides young professionals with an opportunity to learn, observe and develop their skills with current leaders in the industry. The AGC student chapter is involved on campus, in the community and in industry. In addition, the AGC student chapter at MSU provides a host of collaborative activities designed to enhance your learning experience.
