Senior Send-Off

Olivia Robinson is the daughter of Jessi Watts and Jason Robinson and was born and raised in Mt. Sterling. Throughout high school, she remained actively involved in academics, athletics, and the arts, serving as a chamber first-chair bass player while competing on both JV and varsity soccer teams. She began mock trial her sophomore year, specializing in courtroom art, and went on to win three consecutive state championships, earning bids to national competitions in Delaware, Arizona, and Iowa.

At Craft Academy, Olivia served as a PR Team Lead for FTC Craft Coalition Robotics, where she traveled to the Netherlands for a premier international event. She has also been a lead in the Entrepreneurial Community Improvement Program (ECIP), a press team lead and a chair member of a Special Project within the eXperiential Learning Committee. In addition, she conducted qualitative CODE research under Dr. Rogers and served as a Craft Academy Ambassador.

During her time at Craft, Olivia built meaningful friendships that supported and shaped her journey. She is deeply grateful to her friends for encouraging her to stay, grow, and succeed. She would like to thank her mom for always believing in her dreams and for lifting her up every time she falls. She would also like to thank her dad for being a constant in her life and for always reminding her of her strength and everything she is capable of becoming.

Olivia will be attending Louisiana State University, where she plans to pursue a five-year professional degree in architecture, along with a minor in construction management and real estate. She hopes to use her education to design spaces that are both functional and meaningful, while continuing to grow as a leader, artist, and member of her community. She is excited to take this next step and carry the lessons and relationships she’s built at Craft with her into the future.

Skylan Stevens is a graduating senior at Craft Academy, attending the University of Kentucky in the fall of 2026, majoring in Nursing and Public Health as a Public Health Nursing Scholar (PHNS). During her time at Craft, she has been actively involved in student initiatives and service projects, collaborating with peers to promote outreach and engagement beyond campus.

She worked closely alongside her leadership team on the Hazel Green Academy Revitalization Project, emphasizing a shared commitment to impact and service. She has a strong passion for writing and art, using creativity to express herself and connect with others. Skylan is especially grateful for the constant support of her mother, Erika Stevens, and her stepfather, Craig Benton, as well as the encouragement of her family and friends, especially her little brother Xavier, who continues to inspire her drive and perspective. You can find her taking pictures of sunsets or listening to her favorite songs in her free time. She hopes to use her education and experience not only to care for others but also to be a voice for those who need one most.

Ellis Kidwell is a senior from Camp Dix and will be attending the United States Military Academy at West Point this fall. Ellis has been a team lead of the Robot Gladiator League Special Project, a member of the Padawan Program, and the Civic Engagement Chair for the Student Y Chapter at the Craft Academy. Additionally, Ellis has been a member of the MSU Army ROTC program, the United States Naval Sea Cadets, and Boys State.

Ellis has an older brother currently attending the United States Military Academy, and his parents, Joanne and Alan, are both educators. In his free time, Ellis enjoys exploring the great outdoors, fishing in his community, hunting, and taking pictures of the Milky Way galaxy from behind his house. Of his duties, being the Chauffeur of his Papaw “Butch” on the old “dirt road” is one of his most important. Along with this, helping his Papaw Tom with his cattle, groundhogs, and plain old hogs is one of his biggest joys. Ellis is grateful for the support he has received thus far and looks forward to empowering community members to overcome obstacles and exceed expectations!

Luke Seelye is a graduating senior at Craft Academy from Ekron and the son of Deanne and Troy Seelye. Attending Vanderbilt University in the fall of 2026, Luke will pursue a dual degree in Economics and Human and Organizational Development as an Ingram Scholar. During his time at Craft, he has been deeply committed to leadership and service, serving as the President of the FBLA Chapter and the Entrepreneurial Community Improvement Program Team Lead. He worked closely with his peers as Head of the Club Subcommittee for the Craft Experiential Learning Committee, emphasizing a shared dedication to building a lasting legacy for future students.

Luke has a strong passion for innovation and community impact, having earned the Entrepreneur and Innovator Award and shared his research at the Morehead State University Celebration of Student Scholarship. He is especially grateful for his home high school, Meade County, and the roots he established at Buck Grove Baptist Church, where his faith continues to inspire his drive and integrity. You can find him giving back to his community, with over 700 hours of service dedicated to helping those around him. He hopes to use his education and experience not only to lead with humility but also to be a voice of integrity for his community and beyond.
