WHAT YOU’LL Learn IN THE DOCTOR OF ENGINEERING PROGRAM

Learn how to solve real-world engineering problems using advanced systems engineering skills. The Doctor of Engineering program emphasizes hands-on research and practical learning in areas such as aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. You will study how large systems are designed, built, and managed, and you will complete a research project that helps solve real industry problems.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH A DOCTOR OF ENGINEERING Degree

You can advance to high-level engineering and leadership positions. Graduates often work in fields such as aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and research. You may become a project leader, systems engineer, researcher, or technical manager. This degree prepares you to take on significant challenges and lead essential engineering projects.

WHAT MAKES MOREHEAD STATE’S PROGRAM DIFFERENT

This program emphasizes applied research and practical problem-solving rather than purely theoretical study. You may complete the program entirely online, in person, or in a hybrid format, allowing maximum flexibility for working professionals.
