What You'll Learn in the middle grades education program
You'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to be an educator for grades 5-9 at public and private schools in Kentucky. You will learn in-demand skills like speaking, writing, working with others, thinking critically, and being professional. You can also decide to continue your education in graduate school.
Note: Students interested in 5-9 certification must select two academic components from English, science, social studies and mathematics, or students may choose coursework for a single component in science.
