What You'll Learn in the middle grades education program
The Middle Grades (5-9) Teacher Education Program prepares candidates with the pedagogical skills, content knowledge, and professional dispositions to become effective middle school teachers in Kentucky and beyond.
NOTE: Students interested in the Middle Grades (5-9) Program select two academic specializations (i.e., math, social studies, science, English language arts). Students may also choose Middle Grades (5-9) with one academic specialization plus LBD or they may choose Middle Grades (5-9) with one academic specialization plus MSD.
