Two Programs Same Mission
TRiO Student Support Services offers two student-oriented programs (Classic and Teacher Prep) that provide tutorial services, peer mentoring, and academic, financial, and personal counseling. TRiO Student Support Services at Morehead State University provides opportunities for educational enrichment, graduate school visits, and academic development services to assist students with basic college requirements and motivate students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education.
Both programs aim to increase college retention and graduation rates of their participants and help students transition from one level of higher education to the next. Classic is open to all majors, while Teacher Prep is open to all Education Majors or students who wish to learn about traditional and alternative pathways to teaching.
