Gwen Akers, an English education and Spanish major from Ashland, KY, chose MSU for the close community and life-changing mentorship. She was drawn to MSU’s smaller size and the chance to truly connect with her professors. Now, as a future educator herself, Gwen is surrounded by the same kind of support and guidance she hopes to one day give her own students. ✏️📖
