Campus Residences

MSU has 15 residence halls for MSU students, including two halls on the University Farm, and one for Craft Academy students.

Home away from Home

Living on campus offers a sense of community, and students who live on campus tend to do better academically and be more engaged.

MSU offers suite-style, single, double and apartment-style rooms. All residence halls have free Wi-Fi and free laundry.

MSU offers a variety of housing options from apartment style, to 4- and 2-person rooms. Limited single occupancy rooms are available. Some residence halls have shared kitchen spaces. Pictured is Cooper Hall. Cooper Hall was recently renovated and reopened in 2025 with shiny new spaces. Your residence hall room is a great place to study. Your residence hall can be a quiet place to study. Make MSU your home! Your residence hall is your home - decorate, make it comfy.

The Mignon Complex is at the heart of our residential area. It includes our First-Year Village (East Mignon Hall, Mignon Hall, and Mignon Tower).
