Recreation & Wellness Center

Our award-winning Recreation & Wellness Center is the perfect place to work out, play sports, or just unwind. Want to enjoy the outdoors? Eagle Lake is right behind the Rec—perfect for hiking, fishing or kayaking.

The Rec offers a pool, cardio machines, weights, fitness classes, a walking track and multi-use courts. Students are admitted using their EagleCard IDs.

The Recreation & Wellness Center (The Rec) has fitness classes, exercise equipment, multipurpose courts and more. The Rec's pool has swimming lanes and whirlpool and can be configured for special events. The Rec has cardio hallways with treadmills and ellipticals - so you can exercise with a view. The Rec offers a variety of free weights and weight machines. The pool has swimming lanes so you can swim for fun or exercise. The Rec offers several multi-use courts for basketball, intramural sports and special events.

Eagle Lake

MSU's campus includes a 30-acre lake encircled by a hiking trail that joins the Sheltowee Trace National Trail. The lake borders the Daniel Boone National Forest.
