Meet Our Team at Alumni Relations & Development
Allison Caudill (Class of 2005, 2009)
Vice President, University Advancement
Allison serves as the CEO of the MSU Foundation, Inc. She also provides strategic vision and leadership for the University Advancement unit, which includes Alumni Relations and Development, Communications and Marketing, Eagle Trace Golf Course, Morehead State Public Radio and the Kentucky Folk Art Center. She oversees all programs designed to further communicate the outreach and impact of Morehead State University.
Jessi Ferguson (Class of 2011, 2012)
Executive Director, Alumni Relations & Development
Jessi oversees the function and mission of the Office of Alumni Relations and Development. She also leads multi-channel annual fundraising activities, including direct mail, online giving and planned giving opportunities. She serves as the liaison to Communications and Marketing and manages external alumni and donor communications.
Hallie Adams (Class of 2025)
Coordinator, Donor Engagement
Hallie leads the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of emerging major gift prospects, donors, corporations and foundations. She delivers a personalized philanthropic experience by using both digital and in-person engagement to build meaningful relationships with supporters.
Farrah Baldwin (Class of 2001)
Director, Alumni Engagement & Cultivation
Farrah is responsible for the volunteer efforts of the MSU Alumni Association Board of Directors. She also serves as the liaison to enrollment services, identifying opportunities for alumni to contribute to enrollment growth.
Allie Bush (Class of 2022)
Coordinator, Digital Engagement & Annual Giving
Allie is tasked with managing digital fundraising and content, including social media, email solicitations and web content. She manages all efforts of the Digital Engagement Center and its student employees who connect with alumni via phone, text, video and email.
Hannah Curreri (Class of 2024, 2025)
Outreach Programs Marketing & Events Coordinator
Hannah supports University Advancement by managing community outreach events, marketing initiatives and special guest visits. This role helps promote partnerships through events with Morehead State Public Radio, the Kentucky Folk Art Center and Eagle Trace Golf Course.
Allison Cyrus (Class of 2024)
Coordinator, Donor Relations & Scholarship Management
Allison oversees and maintains the MSU Foundation scholarship program, including the management of new and existing scholarship agreements. She coordinates the awarding process in collaboration with the Office of Financial Aid and ensures all awards align with donor intent. Additionally, she manages donor stewardship efforts and impact communications, maintaining regular contact with scholarship donors through fund reporting and the distribution of student appreciation notes.
Sharon Fraley (Class of 1999, 2012)
Director, Finance
Sharon manages the investments of the MSU Foundation and oversees day to day operations. She works to ensure proper management and administration of Foundation funds and creates and monitors annual budgets.
Matthew Nutter (Class of 1996, 2018)
Advancement Records Specialist
Matt is responsible for the preservation of information in the alumni and donor database. He oversees daily gift entry, pledge fulfillment and information updates and supports the staff with data to guide engagement and fundraising efforts.
Mikayla Martin (Class of 2021)
Assistant Director, Advancement Events
Mikayla is the MSU liaison for all alumni events, as well as presidential events. She oversees the publicity and planning for said events, ensuring that alumni and friends have the opportunity to engage and network with MSU in a meaningful (and fun!) way.
Kelsey Shields (Class of 2019)
Assistant Director, Foundation Business Operations
Kelsey supports the daily financial, administrative and operational functions of the Foundation. She assists with the management of Foundation fund expenses, conducts regular fund analyses and ensures proper fund usage.
Sherry Surmont (Class of 2015, 2018)
Director, Advancement Services
Sherry oversees the proper management and growth of the alumni and donor database and provides strategic insight to alumni engagement and fundraising efforts. She also manages the receipting and acknowledgment processes of all gifts.
Leslee Toy (Class of 1990, 2003)
Alumni & Donor Experience Officer
Specializing in focused events and personal connections, Leslee facilitates strategic plans for customized donor experiences. She strives to effectively demonstrate the impact of philanthropic support, providing specialized stewardship.
Sydnee Wellman (Class of 2023)
Coordinator, Campus Development & Communications
Sydnee is responsible for engagement efforts with students, faculty, staff and GOLD (graduates of the last decade) alumni. She also advises the MSU Student Alumni Ambassadors and oversees the Student Emergency Assistance Program.
