Bio

Dr. Adkins research interests include how religious belief and practice affect political attitudes, how NFL fandom affects racial attitudes, and the effectiveness of welfare agencies in serving citizens in urban and rural areas in Europe. He also serves as the Coordinator of Education Abroad for MSU. His primary mission with education abroad is helping students leave their comfort zone for a bit and explore the world, while building career skills that set them up for success in a global workforce. Dr. Adkins has led spring break Education Abroad courses to Finland/Estonia, and Hungary/Romania.
