Bio

I am the proud father of two daughters, Kyra (NKU grad/Xavier grad) and Jaisa (Morehead State student), and the husband of Amy (Georgetown College grad). I have been happily married for 26 years. My family and I reside in southern Lewis County. My wife retired as an auditor for the state auditor’s office. I retired from public school education. I am a proud Morehead State University alumnus. I have received several degrees, including superintendent certification and my doctoral degree. I am passionate about helping young people become the best version of themselves, and I am passionate about musky fishing.

I have been blessed to hold the positions of high school math teacher, computer teacher, high school coach, middle school coach, elementary coach, assistant principal at the elementary and middle school level, Alternative School director, Principal of West Carter High School, Assistant Superintendent, State Board Member for Kentucky Association of School Administrators and local school board member. I feel humbled and honored to now have the opportunity to assist the young adults at Craft Academy to become the best version of themselves.
