Bio

Michelle Buckley obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Morehead State University in 1993 and her Masters of Science degree in nursing education from Northern Kentucky University in 2016. She began her nursing career at St. Claire HealthCare as a staff nurse on a telemetry/orthopedic unit and later transferred to home care where she served as a staff nurse, team leader and patient-care coordinator.

Buckley joined MSU's Nursing Department in 2009, where she serves as the academic resource coordinator and lab coordinator in the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program at the Mt. Sterling extended campus. In this position she advises pre-nursing students, coordinates course specific labs, develops and implements nursing simulations and supervises and remediates students’ competencies of clinical skills.

In her spare time, Buckley enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
