Bio

Nathania Bush earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1996, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001, and Master of Science in Nursing in 2002, all from Eastern Kentucky University. In 2012, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where her capstone project focused on "Palliative Care Education in Nursing Homes." 

Bush is a certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Public Health Nursing with a strong clinical and scholarly focus on end-of-life care for older adults and pediatric bereavement. She is a certified trainer with the End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) for adult and pediatric palliative care. She also trains healthcare professionals through the Geriatric Nursing Education Consortium (GNEC). Passionate about service learning, Bush is actively involved in projects such as Camp SMILE, dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the service region.
