About Me

I am the publications writer for the Office of Communications and Marketing at MSU. I jokingly refer to myself as the resident "word guy." My main duties include writing content for everything from printed marketing pieces and website pages to more long-form features and news releases. I am also one of our office's primary proofreaders and editors, and am responsible for organizing, designing and sending the University's online newsletter.

Written communication is powerful. I receive tremendous fulfillment from using my words to recruit prospective students to an institution that can help them fulfill their passions and achieve their goals. I also love to tell the story of MSU through the experience of current students, the accomplishments and service of its faculty and staff, and the many Eagle alumni who have gone on to succeed and make a positive impact in many parts of the world.

I also serve as an instructor in the Department of Communication, Media and Languages.
