Zach Lukins

Bio

A native of Nicholas County, Sgt. Lukins graduated from Nicholas County High School in 2011. He enlisted in the Kentucky Army National Guard in October, 2012 as a 13B – Cannon Crewmember with B BTRY, 2/138th FA BN in Carlisle. From 2012 to 2021, Sgt. Lukins served on numerous state active duty and civil disturbance assignments, always helping his state and local community.

Sgt. Lukins earned his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies in 2017 from Morehead State University, where he also met his loving wife, Molly. He married his wife in 2017 and has three children: Kellen, Adeline, and Harrison.

Before joining the Eagle Battalion in August 2023, Sgt. Lukins was the recruiting and retention NCO for the Prestonsburg, KY area providing opportunities for his local community and helping further the education of numerous students throughout the area.
