Shoshana is the staff accompanist at Morehead State University, where she supports student and faculty recitals, the choral and opera programs, vocal performance classes, and the Showtime ensemble, as well as associate music directing and bandleading the Annual Spring Gala.
Shoshana is a California native and a University of California, Irvine graduate. Before moving to Kentucky in 2024, she spent 15 years in New York City as a theatre music director, pianist, and vocal coach.
In addition to her work at MSU, Shoshana is the associate music director for the Lexington Theatre Company, the premier professional musical theatre company in Eastern Kentucky (A Christmas Story, 42nd Street, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A Christmas Carol). She also co-teaches in Lex’s Artist Development Program for K–12 students, including the Pre-Professional Company, which has performed at the Lexington Football Club, the Southern Lights Festival, the Festival Latino de Lexington, and at the Lexington Opera House in concert with Broadway veterans Laura Bell Bundy, Marissa Winokur, and Kerry Butler.
Shoshana has been the resident music director for Jenny Wiley Theatre in Prestonsburg, KY, and a music supervisor with RWS Entertainment for the Holland America Line production shows. She has music directed at venues across the country, including Cortland Repertory Theatre (New York), Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Jean’s Playhouse (New Hampshire), Thin Air Theatre Company (Colorado), Sierra Repertory Theatre, Great American Melodrama Theatre (California), and Gold Rush Productions (Alaska).
She has also music directed and accompanied at numerous universities, including Barnard, NYU, SUNY Cortland, Nazareth College, Pace, Montclair State University, and the University of Hartford. She has also been a guest clinician at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
