Bio
Maria Terrell joined the Department of Nursing as a full-time faculty this past January 10, 2022. She is a MSU alumni having graduated with her BSN degree. The MSN was later conferred by Regis University in Denver Colorado with a focus in Nursing Leadership. Her experience includes being an Instructor at Maysville Community and Technical College in their Associate Degree RN and Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) programs. Her clinical background includes practicing at Appalachian Regional Healthcare in West Liberty. Additionally, she was a staff RN at SCRMS in the obstetrics unit, coordinated of chronic care patients at Sterling Healthcare in Mt. Sterling, and as a manager at SCR Hospice as a Care in Rowan County. Terrell teaches Fundamental Nursing Concepts didactic/lab/clinical in the Associate of Applied Sciences in Nursing (AASN) program.
