Regents to meet March 28

The Morehead State University Board of Regents will meet Thursday, March 28, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 329 of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).  

At the meeting, the board will vote for chair, vice chair and secretary positions and will appoint a treasurer. Currently, Kathy Walker serves as chair, Wayne Martin is vice chair, Sharon Reynolds is secretary and Teresa Lindgren is treasurer. Officers of the board are elected to a one-year term.  

In addition, the board will: 

• Approve faculty phased retirements and sabbatical leaves.
• Approve personnel policy PAc-27 Tenure and Reappointment Review. 
• Approve tuition, mandatory fees and student housing rental rates for the 2019-20 academic year. 
• Approve coaching contracts for Head Women’s Golf Coach Stephanie Baker and Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Jaime Gordon. 
• Approve the naming of a space inside the Adron Doran University Center. 
• Ratify the Staff Congress and Student Government Association constitutions.
• Ratify the 2020-2026 capital plan.  

The next Board of Regents meeting will be Thursday, June 6.
