Board of Regents meets Nov. 3

thumbnail-seal-540x430.webpThe Morehead State University Board of Regents will hold a quarterly meeting on Friday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m., in room 329 of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).  

Before the board meeting, the Audit Committee will meet at 2:30 p.m.  

The board will act on several items, including:  

  • Approval of an updated job description for President Dr. Jay Morgan.   
  • Approval of a University endowment match.  
  • Approval of an update to the Staff Congress bylaws.   
  • Approval of changes to University Policy PG-22.  
  • Approval of changes to the University’s Intercollegiate Athletics Committee.  
  • Approval of the University audit report.  
  • Ratification of the 2024-26 biennial budget request.  
  • Approval of a University budget adjustment.  
  • Approval of asset preservation projects.  
  • Approval of the employee compensation plan.  
  • Approval of the track program.  
  • Approval of exception from LEED certification.   

The board will also hear a report on a new housing feasibility study and consider authorizing construction and bonding for the project. The board will also hear an update on the new science and engineering building.
