Morehead State Open House is Feb. 10

Morehead State University combines a sense of community, small class sizes, and hands-on learning to help you SOAR Higher. It is why MSU has been named one of the Top 20 best public regional universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report and celebrated its 20th consecutive year as a top-ranked institution.

Future Eagles can learn more about MSU at Open House from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC).

By signing up, prospective students and families can:

  • Speak with faculty from our academic programs.
  • Get guidance from financial aid representatives.
  • Learn about advising, tutoring, career planning and other student success services.
  • Eat lunch with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Take a tour of MSU's campus.
  • Apply for admission with waived application fee

"Our goal is to make it convenient to get answers to questions about starting college by bringing deans, department chairs, and faculty from our academic programs, as well as staff from admissions, financial aid, housing and many more services, together in one place," said Holly Pollock, director of undergraduate admissions.

"Families will hear success stories about our graduates and learn statistics demonstrating the academic quality offered at MSU."

MSU's Open House event takes place on Alumni Day, and attendees will receive complimentary tickets to cheer on the Eagle Basketball teams. The women's basketball team will take on Eastern Illinois at 1 p.m., followed by the men's basketball team at 3 p.m. Both games are in the Academic-Athletic Center (AAC).

MSU's Open House also provides information and a campus tour for high school students interested in attending the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics. Please indicate your interest in the Craft Academy on your registration form.
