Morehead State extends deadline to help students
Morehead State University takes pride in providing affordable, quality education while helping students and families navigate the financial aid process.
The nationwide delay by the U.S. Department of Education in the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid – Pell Grants) is causing uncertainties for the families of prospective students who receive aid. As one of Kentucky's most affordable four-year universities, MSU is here to help.
We are extending our priority commitment date from May 1 to June 15. We've also moved our merit scholarship priority deadline to June 15.
Students can confirm their enrollment online and are encouraged to do so before June 15, as space is limited.
Enrollment Services staff are available to help students, families, and schools as they navigate the FAFSA (Pell Grants) and financial aid process.

Morehead State offers:
- Students can self-report their estimated Cost of Attendance based on their 2024-25 FAFSA.
- Attend FAFSA days at schools and local communities with MSU enrollment and financial aid staff.
- Schedule one-on-one appointments with our financial aid staff (in-person or virtually) for students and families.
- Join our free online live event, “College Affordability 101,” on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m.
