Spring Gala sets record, raises money for student success

Morehead State University students, faculty, staff, administration, friends, and community partners once again came together "Under the Stars" for a glamorous night to raise money for MSU students.

The 32nd annual Spring Gala occurred on Saturday, April 26, at the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC). The event, titled "Galactic Gala—An Evening Under the Stars," was the second-ever sell-out for the fundraiser, which raised over $80,000 in sponsorships and $30,000 in the online silent auction.

Nearly 500 guests enjoyed a reception and a multi-course dinner prepared by Aramark. Faculty and students presented the show "To Infinity and Beyond" featuring MSU’s Department of Music, Theatre & Dance, and the MSU Color Guard. The night ended with a dessert and dancing reception.

"This past Saturday was a record year for the University," said Mikayla Martin (Class of 2021), assistant director of advancement events. "It was an exceptional evening full of fun and excitement!"

The 2026 MSU Spring Gala is scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
