MSU Remembers Former Employee Rick Faulkner

Born on September 27, 1966, in Lexington, Richard A R Faulkner was the son of the late Thomas Faulkner and Mildred Lockard Faulkner Schiffer.

He grew up in Winchester and was a retired Lexington firefighter. Faulkner worked at Morehead State from 2012 to 2019 as the recruitment communications manager in the Office of Enrollment Services.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Faulkner Schiffer; son, Andrew and wife, Paige Faulkner; daughter, Emily and husband, Justin Taylor; and grandchildren, Addilyn Taylor, Riley Faulkner, and Calloway Taylor.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Wells Funeral Home in Stanton. A service led by Bro. Lucas Waters will follow at 1 p.m.

The burial will take place in Evans Cemetery in Campton with Fire Honors.
